As chairman of the Waltham Abbey Town Partnership and trustee of the E F District Museum, committee member Paul Violet is deeply involved with the upcoming events in Waltham Abbey. It is the year of King Harold, with the Bayeux tapestry coming to the British Museum and Waltham Abbey planning a year of King Harold linked events.
Currently in contact with the British Museum to help plan the events, it is hoped that with the efforts of a small working committee it will be a year that will put the town well and truly on the national map.
