We are a UK charity supporting families of seriously ill children by providing free “home from home” accommodation near hospitals.

The Rhys Daniels Trust is a UK registered charity dedicated to supporting families whose children are receiving treatment for serious or life threatening illnesses. We provide free “home from home” accommodation near specialist children’s hospitals so families can stay close to their child during long or complex treatment.

Our accommodation offers a comfortable and private space away from the hospital environment, helping families rest, spend time together and maintain a sense of normality during extremely difficult periods.

Founded in memory of Rhys Daniels, the charity was created after his family experienced first hand the challenges of staying near hospital during treatment. Today, the trust continues that legacy by supporting families across the UK and ensuring they do not face additional stress from travel or accommodation while caring for a seriously ill child.
