Epping Air Cadets

Epping Air Cadets offers young people aviation experiences, adventure training and leadership development.

Epping Air Cadets is a local youth organisation that forms part of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets network. The squadron provides young people with opportunities to develop confidence, leadership skills and teamwork through a wide range of structured activities and training programmes.

Cadets can take part in aviation related experiences such as flying and aerospace learning, alongside adventure training, fieldcraft, sports and community volunteering. The organisation aims to help young people develop discipline, independence and practical life skills while building friendships and gaining new experiences.

The Epping unit operates as 414 (Epping & North Weald) Squadron, offering regular parade nights and opportunities for cadets to progress through training and leadership programmes.
