It was a proud day for one of our Executive Committee members recently when he was made an Honorary Freeman of Waltham Abbey, the highest honour that the local authority can bestow.
At a ceremony in the Town Hall, attended by local residents, town councillors, other mayors from the District and the local MP, Paul Violet was presented by the town mayor with this prestigious award for services to the community over a 15 year period.
