A more consolidated way to Park in Epping,

Epping has long been a favoured destination for both residents and visitors who come to explore the charming market town, Epping Forest, and its rich cultural heritage. However, the lack of adequate parking facilities has often posed a challenge.

The opening of this new multi-story car park brings a breath of fresh air to the town. With a inclosed parking spaces, locals and visitors alike can now enjoy more convenient access to the vibrant heart of Epping, including its wide array of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.

Economic Boost for Local Businesses

This development couldn’t have come at a better time. In the post-pandemic era, local businesses are striving to recover and rebuild. Increased parking availability directly translates into higher footfall, and higher footfall means more opportunities for local businesses to thrive.

With the new multi-story car parks providing accessible and secure parking options, it’s easier than ever for residents and visitors to shop, dine, and engage with the businesses that make Epping unique.

Strengthening the Community

The Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce has long been advocating for measures to improve business conditions in Epping. We are thrilled to see this investment in infrastructure that not only serves businesses but also enhances the overall experience for everyone who loves our town.

The new car park are not just spaces to park vehicles; they are key contributors to the vitality of our community. They are spaces that bridge the gap between local businesses and the people they serve. They are spaces that promote accessibility and inclusivity, making Epping even more inviting.

As a chamber, we will continue to support local businesses, foster growth, and advocate for initiatives that improve the quality of life in our town.

The Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce congratulates the local authorities on this fantastic development and looks forward to witnessing the positive impact it will have on our community and businesses. This is a step toward a brighter and more prosperous future for Epping.

Update From Roger Lowry (ViceChair Epping Society)

There is no extra capactiy following the EFDC directes to Qualis to replace only the number of spaces which existed before the car park redevelopment.

This is part of an agreement with Epping Forest to not encourage car transport, as well as EFDC policy to urge “modal shift”.
