The Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce recently held its latest Business Forum, a dynamic and well-attended event that brought together business leaders, public officials, and community representatives from across the district for an afternoon of collaboration, dialogue, and strategic insight.

The forum featured a distinguished panel of speakers who shared their expertise on key topics including economic development, business support, employability, wellbeing, and community safety. We were honoured to welcome:

•   Heather Thirtle – President, Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce
•   Patrick Maynard – Let’s Do Business Group
•   Cllr Louise Mead – Vice Chairman, Epping Forest District Council
•   Albert Johnson – Employability Manager, New City College
•   Eve Stanway – Divorce and Breakup Coach
•   Cllr Janet Whitehouse – Mayor of Epping Town
•   PC Jamie Shepherd – Essex Police
•   Nicky Brody – Rhys Daniels Trust
•   Dr. Neil Hudson MP – Member of Parliament for Epping Forest

Their contributions were instrumental in making the forum a valuable platform for knowledge sharing and community engagement. The Chamber extends its sincere thanks to all our speakers for their time, insight, and dedication.

We also take this opportunity to congratulate Councilor Janet Whitehouse on her recent appointment as Mayor of Epping Town, and Councilor Razia Sharif on being named Deputy Mayor. Further congratulations are extended to Councilor Louise Mead, who has been appointed Council VIP.

A heartfelt thank you is also extended to those who were unable to attend but continue to support the Chamber’s mission and the broader business landscape across Epping Forest.

Events like the Business Forum underscore the strength, diversity, and resilience of the local business ecosystem. The Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce remains committed to fostering meaningful partnerships, championing local enterprise, and driving sustainable growth throughout the region.
