Hello everyone,
Today has been an emotional, humbling day for us at 3Food4U, as we’ve received the incredible news that our organization has been awarded the King’s Award for Voluntary Service (KAVS). This is a milestone I never imagined when we began this journey – it’s a dream come true, not just for me, but for everyone who has played a part in our story.
Reflecting on our journey so far, it’s been filled with twists, turns, and a fair share of hurdles. Yet, here we are, standing together and celebrating an achievement that feels both surreal and deeply rewarding. The work we do at 3Food4U comes from a desire to treat every person with dignity and respect, providing them with support when they need it most. It’s a simple mission, but one that has resonated with so many.
I am endlessly grateful to the Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce for their support along the way. You believed in 3Food4U and in the idea that everyone deserves compassion and care, no matter their circumstances. You embraced our vision and provided a platform for us to grow, share, and serve.
And, of course, my heartfelt thanks go out to every single volunteer and supporter who has joined us. Whether you’ve helped us on the ground, spread the word, or simply cheered us on from afar, each of you has contributed to this moment. The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is not just a recognition of 3Food4U; it’s a recognition of every helping hand that has made our work possible.
To put this honor into perspective, only one other charity in the Epping Forest District has received this award in nearly 25 years. This award is a testament to what we can achieve when we come together with a shared purpose and an unwavering commitment to serve others.
